    The big question of the week is 25 or 50? No, we’re not talking about the age of Leonardo DiCaprio’s next girlfriend (obviously 25). We don’t have time to think about about girlfriends (or boyfriends) because we’re too busy thinking about Federal Reserve policy and whether they’ll go 25bps or 50bps at the next FOMC meeting. As I’ve noted in the past I think they should have cut in July and I think they actually regret having not cut in July so there’s a pretty reasonable argument that they should cut 50bps just to make up for the mistake. The Fed's true mandate is to prop up Wall Street. THIS would be why they would do it. I don't think they will, but they certainly dgaf about the US population.

Why are people hyping up 50bps? It's actually delusional. There wasn't even consensus for a 25bps in September at the last meeting and there hasn't been any significant material changes to the economic outlook since then.

I like how even people like ourselves cannot agree on how much the Fed should cut hahahah...

I mean they should hike, because of what'll happen in the future, but that's not happening.

Inflation is alrd lower than expected and feds know it. Soon it’ll become deflation.

50 bps rate cut this week to prop up stocks and crypto for sure.
