All of you conjecturing about the markets:

Examine this image and tell me what you think about something known as "The Singularity". There is no escape from geometry in a chart. geometry is what make the markets appear to show something. The form of geometry is what we use to analyse the movements and draw conclusions from it to better inform our future decisions.

If a 15 dollar move causes margin call then they should have a better money management. They were over-leveraged

The fear of US default is much smaller than Tapering, so it is still bearish, I think 1255 still holds.

Couple of resistance above. 1232 minor resistance, and 1242 a sell zone.
Price move in Zig Zag manner my friend.

Well new home sales came in stronger than expected. ISM came in slightly weaker, so its a wash. Nothing extraordinary to warrant such a move...

This chart says that move was always on the cards and wass planned at 10h33 yesterday morning. The entire thing was meant to change the direction of gold because of the risk to investments by large players in the markets. It's time buying strategy that will ultimately fail, but will earn some money from tradrs with bad strategies. The first warning was the low volume. The seconda volume warning was that it all caame in during the US PM session, so this is a USD issue with the FED. There amy be a chance to short again, but caution is advise until after 3pm. That's when you can think about it. Make stops max $1.50 away from entry. If you're right and the point you picked is exact, then you wouldn't have any trouble with the trade being stopped out.

That's terrible. It's a shame that they don't have tight trading policies. In my opinion theey will now learn nopt to use large stops that can kill their accounts.

Analysis.
My chart says that market bearish, but we wait until right time to place positions. Recent activity has put my analysis correct to go short @1229.75 14h53 GMT. Now might be a chance, but that's your risk.

I have 1232 as resistance on my chart, if price closes below, then we are still in the bear territory.

What time frame are you looking at? I do have a retracement to the 38 on the 2 hr but on the daily ,its nowhere near any fib level, and also what about fundamentals, the crazy move is not only confined to Gold, the S&P and pretty much all other major indexes have left me scratching pretty hard.
