I may move that Limit Entry to 1,707.15 & that would make me very bullish.

It proves that gold is still talk of the town, please keep an eye on Platinum and Palladium, its their turn after gold.

went long @ 1730, my target is 1803

no real reason to go long here, got out at 1727 yesterday for a $15 profit, but feel like dont want to miss out on the move so got back in. minor support @ 1729.

i'm in cash mkt so don't really have a stop. however a 'convincing' break below 1700 would have me sell futures to aim for 1665.
do u guys trade futures or cash? i'm in dubai and DGCX sux with liquidity, so trading in cash mkt. but con is that i can't go short, so have to use crappy DGCX for that.
well my short is still holding. aint no action yet. it seems to have gone on a range. iam thinking of closing it out.

no action for the past 8 hrs. so it might be better to close it.

uve got beauty divergence on ur side and possilbe TL break of an important angle.

as long as it caps to the upside, a short is fine.

look at it this way. would buyers buy high? if u were in a shop buying in your favorite lcothing label store say quiksilver, would u rather buy the discounted goods or the ones that are more expenseive?

usually when there is a sharp rise think of it. are the proffessionals really going to buy now? is it too 'expensive' to be buying now?


then again i might just be ranting.

Never underestimate the herd/sheep/lemmings... their force and irrationality cannot be understood.

Kinda like pass the hot potato.


It appears gold or GLD has become too big to fail.
The market cap on the etf alone is worrisome. Why someone would place their pension fund(s) in a metal etf is beyond me.

Although I wonder where the buy orders are getting their profits from considering buy volume is substantially larger than sell. (3-4X)

honestly i think sellers are traping buyers for now. i mean if i wont buy it chances are others wont buy it as well, unless we got some postivie news and all.

yes, i did. in profit now !
on the 30min chart a double top formed between 1733 and 1725.5. Looks like it could go to 1717. 1714 is 38% retr so i would consider adding to longs around 1715.
