Already banked 3 scalps withing the range.
Just took last buy of the day @1506 on getting candle signal in m15. Hoping it to be green too..

Well reviewing his tweets over the last week (a sad task I must say), earliest is around 7 am East coast time. Most morning tweets are around 9 and 11. Bit busy around 14:00, 19:00 and 23:00 hours.

Today was a very difficult day for gold traders. With GDP data along with political drama, there was good reason to think we'd see a lot more volatility then we got. It's not easy to squeeze out profits in a tight range like we had today. I hope everybody hung in there. Any thoughts on where we go from here? I'm biased towards gold prices recovering recent losses. Rally Friday?

Check out today's lack of gold (CME CL) volatility. It was on relatively lower volume too:

1500 is strong support for now so I see us further recovering in the short term .... in the long run: I have no cristal ball ;-)
my first target is 1509.50 for the coming hours since we saw a morning star on the 30M

I still think Gold has to complete its retrace to 1440-1450 fora new LL. But DT impeachment might cancel it if it becomes serious which I strongly doubt.
As you said it's difficult to trade it as we are exactly in the middle between the top 1550 and my forecasted retrace 1450. GL!

Gold is the king of deception and crude oil is the queen.

I just went long on gold. If i wake up during the night i might look what the price is.

Interesting that we are smack dab in the middle of your high/low. Trump is not getting impeached. At this point it's all political. I think that given the empty calendar during the Asian and Eurpopean sessions, the only serious price driver will be if some breaking news hits the wires. Otherwise, it will continue to trade on sentiment, which by the looks of the chart and from what I've been observing, is about 50/50.

I’ve also been forecasting gold to go to 1,450 and still believe it will. It’s in a bull market, but needs a little retrace like you said... The US-China trade talks are coming up and that might be the catalyst it needs to take get to either end of the range.

Still inside yesterdays range that we mentioned needs to break on either side 1500 and 1512......
The daily closes above the 1500 handle still showing bulls intent to defend the daily bull area and the last line of defence still sits at 1485 handle.
H1 is still bearish and H4 is busy crossing and turning bearish.


H1 Sell Zone:1506.54 - 1508.98
H4:Neutral to Bearish at 1512
D1: Buy Zone:1502.37 - 1508.55

It's amazing how narrow of a range gold is trading in. This isn't the gold we've been trading for the past few months. Patience is a virtue!
