Meyney, I have mentioned to you, in the past, I do like ~400k net pips or so, per month, in some accounts, to deliver the quote, here is my Aug'20 result of one of my accounts (I add like 6 to 8 new each month). Took me 40 calendar days to close these (yesterday). Last before closure there were ~3,700 remaining baskets that could not reach to their targets. This is us cent live. Nearly ~650,000 net pips gained out of ~6,500 baskets, flat 0.01 lot each. Now that's impressive!

Hell yes, it is quite impressive.

There is a room to double, for sure, up to triple the collected pips within one basket, but I have to stay patient as this is interconnected with the growing account equity. Unfortunately, in this particular account I cant hedge with more strategies, which I do prefer above everything else, as in the most ranging times, I ALMOST do reach the account maximum trades allowed of 300... Now I can play only with lot-size, which I would rather not or increasing slowly the targets, which I will certainly do. Maybe after the next closing cycle...

It is good, I can add x3, maybe even x4 times hedging strategies, until the max 300 trades per account limit gets reached.

This is my compounding technique. Instead playing with the lotsize, I do add up new strategies with quite low number of entries and hefty pip targets, like 200/300/400/500 net pips on average per entry of 0.01 lot. That creates significantly less draw-down maintaining exciting and enjoyable monthly income, meanwhile.

The accounts are in us cents. Live.

I don’t think I will leave us cent live any time soon. Seeing no reason for that. Noone anyway tracks down what is happening in there...

My expectations did prove right. Using the same technique of creating an entry, but went down from 10 a day to 3 a day instead.

Set up 3 different goals. To collect more on average, while maintaining nearly similar income as before (10/20/30 usd).

Old way is on the left (0.64 sell lots). The other two are the new way with lesser entries.

The draw-down is quite different. Nearly as expected:

The new 0.16, if were 0.64 instead would go with probably ~500 as a draw-down. Cause if x4 to get to 0.64 shows -240 of a draw-down, but this is likely inaccurate calculation. Still the lot size proportional damage is exactly the same? Can really tell for sure, but the savings on the draw-down are big...

Thus, setting the 3 a day to 30 usd average goal will deliver almost the same result as setting 10 a day entries to 10 usd goal. Will have, in the worst case scenario only 33% of the draw-down, while maintaining the same profit levels? With a little more wait added. Sometimes the wait is about a day or two more.

This is how 10k become 20k, for 1/2 of the draw-down. Need to monitor 1-2-3 months to see the equal load of nearly 10 daily entries, each of 3 entries a day with goals of 30 usd performs in the light of the draw-down. Might be an extra more thrilling first two months. After that? If won't matter as the draw-down levels are not high anyway. I am using them to only try to increase the monthly income without increasing the risk. When equity grows more strategies with low entries and high goals are added. They start interhedge in between. In ranging times. The draw-down gets locked, unlike with lot compound where things can get ugly with the risk increase...

This interhedge dynamic must be a pleasure to watch as It will behave in a non predictable way! I can't wait to try it out.

There's a championship of trading FX/Futures ... a dude that was winner some years ago used to say that having a bunch of good strategies together lower drawdown significantly. Annnnd you are the proof ! And... he didn't use stop.

It is hard to program and trade at the same time. Really difficult it is. Lots of mental energy gets wasted. In looking, researching, trying to understand, twisting stuffs to get away from the jaws of these perfect predators - the market makers. The room for escape is really small and hard to enter... Doing both? Might require some really big brains... I hope you have them!

He is really amazing. I could not get there without his uber costly, otherwise, developments. It all was worthy. I am sure for both of us. And in the far future as well, I owe him big... It is absolutely so. Here are 5 different examples, of 5 different accounts, of the same strategy (within the account only), reset in different day of the week (mon-fri). Inter-hedge is here already. When the rate gets directional, they will all point into that direction and if there is a nice distance, will start closing.

I was thinking here... what if inter-hedge is actually valuable between lvl 1 strategies?

I could never finish this one. However, spent few years there, maybe more? It looks to be an important part of the learning process. Just set the average net pips to be around 175-180 net pips on a single flat 0.01 basket. Previously it was 100 net pips. Now expecting around monthly ~700k net pips collection on monthly ~4k baskets (~200 baskets daily).

Have not done that one, yet. Need to gather strength, as it looks too adventurous and naughty, above everything. Not that I can just top up the live us cent account, but still, everything grows perfectly well at the moment. This is a thing I was thinking about too... "Over Targeting". Because eventually there will be some point which you'll be expecting more than the swings offers, isn't?

For a short trend chase with a weekly reset, these 300 net pips goal might be a rare animal. Maybe 4-5 times a year they can bank in... For a bi/tri/quad-weekly resets, 300 net pips sound like a modest target, not so hard to reach, as likely, within a month or so they will be banked in. Maybe like around 10 times a year.

Speaking of taking flips (the 175-180 pips goal), which I give it a go only because of a high ego and pure honour reasons. I see the absolute max to be around 200-300 net pips. 200 net pips they allow in there, but 300? With flips this looks like an overkill to me. This is just what they do offer on the charts...

Well after reading this entire thread i got to say i really enjoyed all the wisdom nuggets and market knowledge you put in here. I still dont fully understand what the squares are? But i do now know the basis of your trading and its a very interesting way of trading i have never thought of ive heard the word hedging thrown around but never knew what it meant but the way you use it makes it pretty clear.

I personally dont and probably wont trade like this unless i get bored of manual trading. Thankfully my pops is a software engineer so he could write me up some code once i finally figure out how to master the 30/70

Also goodluck to Offujimori, it seems like you're very hard working and i hope your work brings you good
