Gold tried its best but to no avail. While most market participants saw Gold soar, I saw it as a failure to recover. 1440.00 was not defeated again.

And, after shooting up at the end of the week, we are back below 1400 to start the week. I missed the big run up on Thursday night - disappointing.
If in doubt, paddle out!

I just got back from having fun! Excited to get back into trading mode after taking a nice break in the outdoors. I stayed in touch with the markets, of course but only as much as the wife allowed. Back to the grind now, and excited about it!

Seeing Nickel chart, I see it has had an important breakout above its prior relative highs and now the dow theory buy signal of higher-highs and higher lows can be seen. Higher prices await.

Nickel followup: Prices as of now are nearly 7% higher than last update and I still expect further higher prices. Long term chart shows prices far off where they have been previously.

Nickel corrected a bit from its overbought levels and had a nice rally yesterday and appears to have formed a short term temporary bottom.

While not hugely liquid, its liquid enough for retail traders to trade in. Good trading opportunity is always around in Nickel.

Nickel has been quietly consolidating (correcting) its overbought levels and is stable. A move above $14550 would suggest that the correction is over.

Nickel smashed above $14550 and now is headed towards $15110 again. A move above that would lead to significant gains in the coming days.

Wow, was just checking Palladium (when calculating the GOLD in white gold (watches)) and it came to my attention.. Some serious prices there...
Came across this article https://www.wsj.com/articles/palladi...tal-1543928401
And then checked this...
https://www.macrotrends.net/1333/his...100-year-chart
https://www.macrotrends.net/2542/pal...cal-chart-data

Interesting.. been leading for some years, but can be much more hit in certain years... But looking for the last 10years,, Palladium increased by more than 5 times up while being much more stable during that time..
Can you afford to take that chance?

Looking at Silver (again).
The weekly order flow chart is showing what appears to be a follow through on last week's order flow "inversion" Understanding that it is only the 3rd day of the week, I'm seeing lots of buying but price is not rising significantly, leading me to believe the buyers are being absorbed by profit taking on longs. We may be due for a pull back (I'm thinking).

To that end I have a short position consisting of 3 entries...I'm looking for price to drop down into the 15.25-35 range, but it has to get through a clear barrier 100 cents higher at 16.25-50. So lets see what happens.

Nickel has been incredibly bullish, along the expected lines and is now perhaps headed further 15% up. at around $21500

Nickel has been consolidating in the recent past, however nowhere to suggest that the rally is over. I continue to think newer highs are coming in the days ahead:

Just wanted to highlight Palladium, which although currently down, earlier today it hit its all time high. It remains strongly bullish.

Here is a monthly chart, which shows Sept has had a spectacular rally!

A look at the monthly chart for Platinum shows many things. Appears strong basing pattern has happened and a breakout was seen in August. Although in September, there is been some fall below its breakout level, I think trend is unchanged and the target is $1032

While Nickel has not had a substantial move in any direction over the past few weeks, it has an important support at around $16800
