Normally i would look for confirmation for Gold going up or down by checking also NzdUsd AudUsd + dollar being weak, but that does not always cause the Gold to move or I'd better say XauUsd_
Does anyone know of an Indicator that shows Real Gold Strength_ Ex: XauUsd being strongly bought or sold ? I check also here https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...hing-on-dollar
but news are delayed _ Tried also Better volume found in the thread_

You are welcome. The first bottom was mentioned in my post which was around 1125. Right now seems is another turning point from 1206 back downwards. I can't estimate the depth for this wave of downside.. but definitely will reach 800 some time in 2017.

As long as gold can't cross 1206 today, downside movement is pretty much confirm.

100 day MVA and this weeks high around $1205 is short term top. Consolidate a bit.. then resume to $1240-50 area next (unless 200 day gets there first - though it will probably come in at the same time)

I had just reviewed the chart. 800 might not be too soon to achieve. It seems that consolidation for higher price is in progress. 1181 will be a good turning point for upward movement.

hi Goldgirl , we should be paying attention to the next 2 weeks

agree with you , IMO the 2017 trend is still short - maybe 800 is a bit of a stretch , but if downtrend resumes , the 1050 area could be achievable

gold is in a tough spot at the moment
