Perhaps we went back to the much talked about 61.8 fib line (annual high v annual low) around 1170 and there were automatic buyers putting some support into this fickle market today

Gold is completing (today) the worst month in 3 years - down more than 12% from the spike high on Nov 9th. In a month!!!!!!

There is a small gap on my gold spot chart Feb 8th around 1164. Most likely it will reach that soon. As well as go lower thereafter.

Gold sits on the 61.8% retracement on my weekly/monthly chart, so for me its time to go long.
Charts: XAUUSD/UJ/EU. Tools: stoch/daily pivots/fibo/channels. Scalper.

Why are you all so eager to go long? I see nothing bullish yet. Plus positive ADP contributes to more falling.

The herd is the permabulls looking at every dip as buy buy buying opportunity - while price continues to go low low lower.

Of course they claim to be hedging or averaging in nonsense.

I have a short, my target is also at $1,150. Considering how bearish it is it might fall lower than that before retracement.
