You did notice I didn't mention any names. Only asked the question why go long in a downtrend. If you find that being critical you shouldn't trade.

But my problem is especially of ones who put a level and even sometimes double down and put a counter trend retracement level before the first one is even hit. LOL.
Not saying you, although maybe you do that too. I don't know just in general it is really ridiculous to see.

Price is going to do what it is going to do. The important thing is to know the current trend and trade with it.

Where to enter and exit is determined by each of us. I don't hold hands.

Funnymentals haven't really changed all that much from Fall 2011 - start of bear market. At some point they will have an effect. In the meantime I expect new lows. That's right below $1046 Dec '15 low.

Take a look at a Gold quarterly chart. The bar just ended Sept 30 was an ugly pinbar. I don't have time to post it tonight as I am preparing for a little old thing called Hurricane Matthew maybe hitting here in South Florida. Maybe tomorrow or Friday I'll get a chance to post a chart or two.

Time will tell if I am correct or not.

I think that it will continue falling at least until it reaches 1240, even if there's a rebound now.

Hi Guys,
Just to keep you updated I am still long from 1263 and 1265 with stop loss around 1260. Small risk but reward could be good. Close partial positions at small profits after every few intervals.

I agree with you. Also long silver from 17.75. The risk/reward ratio is great at these levels.

now .... gold cooking some dish move to be+1 already no lost from now .... that's why sometime i need faith ... sometime reason or analysis chart isn't tell everything ... sometime i got a lot of reason to go up but not / or down but up with special move ...nowadays i believe in every action in chart not in past ... best regards

i do admit , this time it didn't happen, acted like a falling knife.
but now I entered again on the assumption 1250 is psychological barrier. so entered long not on my analysis but on the basis of expereince
