neither gold or silver broke there weekly prior ,or the monthly
bears would need to step it up
its major pivot zone
attached is the opposite to gold ,not necessarily clear id see reaction to that tl pivot ,or gold support its on ,
first instance is to see the month break clean at least
basically you need big bear next ,can't see it with current move ,look to open

I would approach it like this:
XAUUSD 1H Chart:
Impulsive [83 bars] and now Corrective [choppy 171 bars so far].
Also, roughly double the time to come down as go up,
would indicate we are in a correction.
So, the next major move should be a wave [c] [iii] Impulsive,
if this is a wave [b] [iii] corrective.

There is some liquidity at this level, either it move a bit lower & shoot again as the movement in the circle or just decide to drop.
If drop 1270 might be.

Note your CFD chart is showing all kinds of gaps that just aren't there on spot and futures charts. Not something I would rely on.

Last swing down on 1 Hour chart had barely a 23.6% retracement. Weak. While the Dollar closed Friday very strong. IMO lower before any substantial correction greater than 23.6%.

usdx is also a noteworthy close exactly to the centre of range ,actually $ has consolidated for a considerable time ,while gold has made a move ,which made me think whats driving gold

can anyone tell me how much is the biggest limit one can trade in gold? for example my broker has a limit of ten 100 lots, i guess you can call it a 1000 lots, can you trade bigger than this or is there a cap or international standard on how much bigger you can go?

at the new V20 accounts at oanda you can trade 5000 lots in one clip (not that I have tried mind you lol) but you are also allowed to put in multiple lots of 5000 ... I think that should satisfy your needs

let's hope for watching consecutive breaks of the levels in below chart, while Kuroda playing out some (yet unimaginable) easing magic && Janet's dovish squeaking later this week ...at least, it's an entry with a well defined risk.

sorry to be the bringer of bad news: this is just a bounce hat at best will that us to 1315.5 usd in a downtrend according to my swingtrade model ... we need to see daily stochastics get into oversold in both silver and gold ...
