gold is in a no trade zone for me due to mixed signals, sidelines.

I'm not opening longs here, not with that doji candlestick on the daily time frame. Gold will probably fall back to 1230.

my charts say it is FRIDAY right now, it excludes far east i.e countries like NZ

I think the Euro is going to retrace next week since it closed inside its upper bollinger band and therefore the dollar increase and therefore gold down to its daily lower bollinger band.

Ever heard of price riding along the Bollinger Band?

Reversals are not automatic after every touch.

Yes, I am familiar with price riding the bollinger band, however gold has been going sideways for over 2 weeks, with daily doji bar and a lower high on thursday and a down.

so many mixed signals . but this pairs looks so bullish sometimes that it show relects its ambitions to reach 1375-1380. And if it does want to get their, it must in 4-8 weeks.
right now nothing looks certain but by the end of this or the next week things must get more clear as we are approaching end of the first quater for 2016.

this has been best quarter for gold in recent years

Feb 11th wide range bar closing price 1246 is the "line in the sand" for me.

Again seems pretty obvious to me (BTW that daily candle 4 bars back is a data glitch, should show as wide range up bar):
