I will be going long term, physical, what do my friends here suggest, after $1400, or now is the time to make even better ?

Gold has valid targets 978 and 930 ish , even if we make anything above 1308+ , 930 ish would be valid ... Hard to say down trend is done ... For now 978 is valid. It will be cheaper below 1.000 down to 93x for physical invest. Etc.

For longer run gold seems like isn't a good place for investing

my first buy was at 1192 with a tight stop loss targeting 1260 , my next buy level 1171targeting 1260. that's it for now. short 1260 until the level is broken . read articles and everybody has different opinion so just following price action.

well it's just triangle it needs to break this tight range first to decide long or short , it's getting tighter and tighter ... I don't know if this has a name (formation/pattern)

Your pattern got broke to the upside with today PA. Maybe gold is going back to test it's previous high of 1260$
