Although I see no real support and nothing but strong resistance I also think a corrective (wave 4) up move is about due. Reaching either 1100 or 1120 areas:

yup , but major "key level" for the bulls.. if 1080 fails to hold support for good, then there is enough room to the downside..

1000>900>etc...

iam seeing an average buying price @1084 ie. where big boys stepped up to buy...

i say buying because there is an increased trading activity , with a net result to the downside of -0,49% over the last 7 days... not much considering the increasing vol.
which at its peak was the highest since late august... (GCZ15 future)

Similar views, built my long and looking for 1092 at the least now 1st TP. Followed by 1102-3, 1117, and 1133. 1133 TP could move down depending on the days it takes for anything to happen...

Found it along with a peace of article this morning but after looking into current gold movement i thought of sharing here. Worth paying attention..

Interesting but one could make the argument that when there's a strong downtrend/uptrend there are always people who think a bottom/top has finally formed.

It's called a bias and it's bad for anyone's account size.

Someone should let the writer know markets almost always bottom not because (new) buyers step in, but because bears stop going short and weak bulls stop exiting their long positions. And I believe neither has started happening yet.

Maybe by the end of next year it will be "time to buy gold".

Good luck is what you will need. Certainly not good analysis - going against the trend risk/reward basis.

everyone think his analysis is best, the truth is most are based on luck coz there is no 100% accurate analysis.

gold is at price of end 2009, about 5 year low, I salute those who are selling for long term at this price 1070

As you all have a much greater experience trading gold than I do I would like to know if there are any inventory or production reports that strongly influence the gold price. For oil and gas we got the weekly us inventories that are followed by rapid price movements in the pair. Is there anything similar for gold?

Nice Weekly chart, Pretty green squiggly things. No trend sensed?????

And what did you do at 1 year lows.

And two year lows. And three year. And four.

I didn't know you are the guy that makes the decision that 5 year lows can't be broken. I'll be sure to tell everyone else.

It's all about risk/reward and waiting for a trend to - finally - end.

Waiting for a turn on daily basis and confirmation on weekly. Hasn't happened yet. Tried and failed most recently in July.

And I should add, I believe it will continue to fail to change trend before new lows below $1000 happen. Just my opinion based on monthly and quarterly charts.
