Today I sold silver on long-term trendline. Worked like a charm.

I entered short position on gold because of price bouncing off from confluance of mid-term resistance trendline and EMA 144 on daily.

By the way, is there thread a on FF that I can place my conclusions on another commodities like copper or wheat?

XAU/USD still has some serious upside potential. My latest trade was a good one:

Huge resistant at 1170, tp 1169
If we break 1170, we're lookin at 1190 tomorrow

Which broker did you use so you can buy/sell silver as longterm investment? I used Forex.com and they have rollover rate which costs me a bit daily fee to just keep the pair, so I end up to just short term trading XAG/USD. When silver is low $14.XX or $13.XX, I believe it is a very good price to just invest it long term.

On daily it is bullish. Not so much on weekly/monthly although if its keeps going up that of course will change.

Presently at long term resistance as well as just under 61.% ret of down move and 161.8% projection of prior swing ... so maybe a pullback or maybe a top (?) time will tell. Note although I didn't put it on my chart pic drawing a trendline from the two most recent swing highs (Jan & May) shows plenty of room to the upside before price would break above it:

Talking about manipulation isn't "excuses". Knowing why a market is moving is key to knowing where it is going and talking about the reality of the manipulations of the metals markets is a healthy reminder to novice traders to limit their exposure when trading.

Roughly 30,000 new gold contracts, representing a third of the physical Comex storage (with no new physical supply to back it up) have been printed in this latest rise. If this continues, upward moves will tend to be pinched short as demand can be met without prices rising high enough to encourage selling. The reverse, however, is not true, so downward moves retain the potential to be quite large; though increased central bank purchasing of physical gold suggest to me we've seen the bottom. This arrangement allows the central banks to purchase gold (real and theoretical) without driving the price up.

Meanwhile, all the mints (at least those of note) have removed bullion shipping dates entirely instead of the twelve weeks they'd extended them to earlier this year (two to six weeks used to be typical) and the physical price at retail is reflecting the shortage.

In Canadian dollars (I'm Canadian in case that wasn't clear), gold has been on the rise since the 2013, currently more then $250 above the 2013 low so it's proved to be a safe investment for me since I've changed my focus from day trading to monthly and yearly time frames.

Yes, it's not so much by the look or opinion - but by wave count that the corrective wave (ii) has been a 3-3-5 waves configuration and likely terminates near 0.6182 retracement of previous impulse wave (i).
