i'm looking for a place to enter my shorts but to be honest i'm not quite sure where lol looking for any kind of fundamentals that would sup a further climb or a stop in it atm..
IMHO, post-US Retail Sales release announcement, the Gold prices are likely to break its short-term ascending trend-channel formation, targeting sub-1100 region.

Not so sure about sub 1100 but 1104 is a distinct possibility.

Using your chart and looking at S/R of higher time frame push back and drop from 1160 is noted.
my eyes are on 1st 1144 response and then 1134 area response as the lesser monthly timeframe pivot is 1134 using old floor traders pivot.
so lets see if this 1130-34 area holds.
1076 major support area held and says go north.
1107 daily closing above held and says go north
1160 says south 2nd day retest says what ?
1134 response says ???

Fri close and hanging at 1160 not motivated to move south but acting like
more upside.
