With rotation back from weekly highs 1220 area eyes were on the daily trend guide or pivot 1197 response and the fri daily close of 1198 is noted.
As we look at the stronger trend of the up coming new quarterly timeframe (although not there yet) its pivot is the 1225 area.
As the lesser trends of the daily and weekly has been up,
the stronger trends march pivot (1221) 2nd qt pivot 1225) and with last weeks rotation back from weekly high we are still in a downward trend until we start trading on the other side of 1225 area, then we have the primary trend the yearly to deal with which is the 1235 area about now.

no fight but just a move down to monday lows and neither motivated to rotatate back to daily pivot.
golds move as far as 1187 is noted which is the weekly pivot.

if one was watching the 5 min and candle formations you would see that silver retested daily pivot for confirmation and gold was moving right with her.

gold i think... the first tp is 1175.

short position...sell 1183 or 1185 ..sl 1189 ...tp 1176 .

it all starts with a day at a time and we see that we are on the upside on the daily along with the weekly.
Time will tell if this is a new quarter and monthly timeframe confirmation of down from 1224 area or not.

The gap on your chart (which mine does not have) might have something to do with indicator divergence.

Possibly but that gap was from Friday. The whole Friday gold have no movement

Not on mine. My broker was open.

But besides you have to be careful relying on an indicator when there is a gap. Readings are thrown out of whack but also it could like what we appear to have today - a gap and run ... who knows how far till it reverses.

hic, I have just sold at 1217 this morning. Should I hold it or Stoploss?

daily high 1211 breakout noted with a close above 1211.
stronger trend push south from 1224 noted
a 2nd day close above 1211 normally confirms continued trending, however keep in mind our daily and weekly trend is facing this area of 1224-1250 which is yearly and quartely trend down.

Hello guys this is my First Time posting my Analysis about GOLD.
in my View i will Sell Nesrly or at 1220 i am not going long on Gold i am still looking for another dip to 1160-1165 level to Start Buying Possibly for 1235-1240 level but not now for now i am Selling until i see 1165 then i will start Buying.
Just Sharing my Analysis after being Trading in Forex for 8 Years i have came to Learn that Gold moves unexpected Sometimes and that is why i trade with Very low leverage.
