This fomc increase seems to create a new market here. I doubt it'll be going back to 1200-1210 range in near time.

My short entry at 1224 activated this morning. I have another short booked for 1232.50 then one at 1240 after that I leave to run until goes to profit. Fairly confident this will happen over the next week or so. No rush to open any hedges on these.

Does anyone can told me why Gold is keep rising?

I did lost a lot of money since I do some selling..

Any charts or information would be helpful.

This is a forum dude. Even if you share a long term support and resistance levels daily, yet you'll come across several people who'll ask the same question over and over again ;-)

hi, i am a very very junior follower of this tread, in fact i have ask many ''silly'' questions, and the seniors here help and guide me along the way,
Not to be offensive, but i always read the entire tread to check for my answer before i post a question, most likely you can find yours by reading a few pages back.....

ok that's second short added tp 1224 no stop loss should have mentioned tp for short at 1224 set for 1218 no stop loss

average 2 x shorts at 1228.25

The past 4 days gold has been moving back up quite aggressively...

This is typical behavior after a double or in this case a triple bottom...

I expect price to keep retracing until the resistance zones marked...

Watch for price action reversal candles along those levels. They should give a good short entry which could in turn make the price go a lot lower than 1180.

My view remain bearish until 1281 is not taken out convincingly.

1240 is going to be a pretty strong resistance after the daily pivot around 1235.. so as we speak yet again gold is standing on an important level... IMO if unemployment claims can drag gold back down in early 20's or even teens it will be an ideal buy.. but something tells me its not going down.. if gold can break through 1240 during the data 1260 will be a much possible place for it to be.. if 1240 does cross however gold reaches a very tough zone.. it will be an interesting PA today..

P.s remmber when gold started falling from 1320 all the way down to 1183.. everyone was waiting for some sort of "PROPER retracement".. and guys.. check out the last two pages.. we are waiting for a proper retracement again.. if this is anything like how it fell... i dont think it will let many of us catch the rising trend..

however.. retracement from 1240 or 1260 is highly probable..

Both bottom-out and peak-out on M15

H1 is interesting, SMA-555 supporting, this SMA (h1) is my fav and the only one I follow when its visible.

DCB support in the Asian session was @ 1214
DCB support for US session @ 1218

IF it breaks SMA-555 on H1, that could be early alert for buyers. Lets see how long 1225 holds, if it does.

ok will look to add another short again at 1232.50 tp 1224.50 no stop and a further one at 1240 tp 1232.50 no stop as previously posted if gets that high. If it doesn't get up to add a further short I shall move my tp on the current short I have at 1224 from 1218 to 1208

EDIT: be interesting to see what Draghi has to say in 30
