Gold prices are trading at intraday support levels breaking which $1228 becomes immediate.

For the last few days its been going sideways on the daily TF. A bottom sounds too good to be true. I hope I have a clear picture by this weekend or latest by next weekend.

The bottom can only be in if 1241.6 is cleared convincingly, but we got a false breakout earlier so that adds to the bear case.

Though I'm quite sure that it will be broken cleanly if price can approach 1242 again (not likely and not going to happen today).

Certainly not today, nothing during the remainder US session. Lets see how PA treats the hot data tomorrow.

Like I said I hope to have a clear picture where its going by this weekend. Most likely, I'll continue to build longs regardless of where price goes.

IF it falls going forward, I'll close shorts and add longs conservatively.

IF it looks like climbing, I'll build longs, may or may not close shorts.

Yeps I can see where your at. I however use TL's and I have that pause due to a falling TL that's now at around 1253. If 1245 breaks out it will have to put on some heavy (car) breaks to stop the momentum from pushing up above 53 imo. It's all speculation though and much room left between these prices

The 4hr chart clearly shows the bull/bear struggle to me, both tried, both failed ending more or less in a stalemate.

The picture is similar for both gold and silver, my longs for both are still in play but far from convinced its the way to go yet.

The plot needs more unfurling yet and I expect little meaningful activity for the next few 4hr candles....yet more patience needed for the time being

This story's developments is something else that I think could affect Gold down the track as it has possible wide spread implications throughout the EZ (or at least that's what I've read as I'm far removed from the EZ).
