OK .... I've tried hedging in the past, its not for me these days.

I have just opened a small long and plan to add more if indications become more favourable on my method in the next day or two

according to strong co-relation between gold and usdjpy.........if jpy breaks 107.58(the weekly rising trendline) only then gold will break 1226 support,otherwise a bounce is expected.............its a wait and see moment.............

but RSI reading is supporting a reversal in both pairs.lets see.

On the daily TF, a alt bat harmonic pattern is on-sight. We are expecting to have a growth by the price If the demand fueled up.

UJ isn't a great correlation in my book. AU is a better judge, however I wouldn't use atm with the current AU drop imo.

Wow. a jump towards 1240........
I was looking for the price to come back to 1230 again and then a bounce towards 1250 is expected.
Added a short at 1240.
2 shorts and 3 longs as of now.

Nice and to plan. Now PA is at the next falling TL and this area is important imo. If it breaks above there could be a medium to LT impact. Didn't quite get a hit on my TL so expecting a little higher to add a short, but my TL could be misdrawn slightly -wouldn't be the first time

I sill marginally favour long, hence my small low risk exploratory trade earlier.

If the next few 4 hr candles along with the closing daily candle confirms my direction is correct, then I will add my main trade in same direction, if it doesnt, then my options are to wait for either stop out on initial trade or simply close it later today manually if it becomes clear that I got it wrong.

The market can still go long or short quite easily at present, we seem to be in a 5-6$ range for a while now, but the important thing to me is that I'm prepared either way

1242 looks like a very strong resistance to me, I don't think this has any hope of piercing it, not before FOMC anyway.

FOMC tomorrow will decide if this goes to 1180 or above 1242. For now I think the risks are tilted towards the downside.
