jack do u reckon its a good chance to go long on 4 h putting 1307 retracement in mind and locking profit there. if so then wht will be the sl cheers

To answer your question, you need to look at the chart below.

Notice the 8 Hour timeframe, the price is currently situated in a very tight Consolidation Zone (i.e. Short @1304.53 & Long @1302.22). This is referred to as a Passive Consolidation Zone.

Also, we are simultaneously Long @1299.63 on the 4 Hour timeframe and Short @1307.63 on the Day timeframe. This is also a Consolidation Zone and is likely to remain effective at least until 12:00 UTC-5:00. This is referred to as an Active Consolidation Zone.

So for me, this type of trade does not offer the Risk/Reward I am looking for which is typically a minimum of 5:1.

There are several strategies for setting your Stop Loss.

This is a key question which I would prefer to answer during the upcoming webinar.

Using the FIA, traders need only "Sell the Highs" & "Buy the Lows".

I went long from the lows this a.m. and took most off at the 1307.50 area, still holding on to a couple with a tight stop. it went to your #, to the tick, jack ! very nice ! this is similar to sam seiden's methods but packaged differently. I like it but still have much to learn I'm sure.

I guess the main difference between Sam Seiden's methodology and mine is that I don't use conventional charts.

My application does all the work for me.

Glad to hear your making progress understanding it!

Careful, the Retracement Level on the 4 Hour chart stands @1307.26.

We are now Neutral on the 8 Hour and Day charts.

The reason I posted so many charts today was because the market was pretty active and I wanted to show people how they work.

As for the next webinar, people who have subscribed will be receiving an email invite by end of week.

Not a good week to hang on to Short trades.

The Supply level on the Week is @1344.82.

So, you should hold on to your Long trades, not your Short trades.

I usually try to avoid taking Short trades in a Bullish market.

Look at my Day chart.

We are Long above 1317.55. If I were you, I would hope for a market retracement and get rid of my Shorts as the market approaches 1317.55.
