Hi everyone
I need your advice
I traded NFP just now and Lost 7000 dollar in split second with one big trading company
I put pending order buy stop at 1295 with TP at 1299 and stop loss at 1294
account history showed my buy stop at 1295 moved to 1305.93 and got cut loss at 1294
the broker gave me reason and said I was given the price at 1305.93 by the market at that price.

How could it be ? anyone help please

If this big trading co. is FXCM, plz be informed that they get fined millions of pounds on regular basis due to scamming exercises.

Guess what? They continue to do so prolly coz profits from dirty exercises are way more than fines they keep paying.


Fellas, plz help and guide this mate if you can

ouch! i feel for you man! i want to reiterate what CT said.."Never trade the news..' I think the order flow might have been congested.. thats how brokers make money..on market slippage!

i gues, you mean you want explanation from me about my message, but its like inpossible to explain my opinons... but i am very best trader, but my forumstyle is unwanted, so i cant write other gold topic xtrader dont want write me, i cant write there, there is no justice...

They keep saying please read your disclaimer ! this is very high risk trading. I told them I really understand about the risk very well, that is the reason I always
put stop loss at any trading. The thing is I don't understand why your system gave the market price at 1305.93 ( actually their highest price on the MT4 was 1303 )
I can not stand whey they keep saying
you need to read the disclaimer and also You said agree ! when signed on it

I am so blank now ! they tried to make me look so quilty

than happened with me many times not with gold with other too.., and the same mistake trade with news with pending order... if its respect company will gives u money ,, and honesty never done before u can talk hrs and write emails 1000 no one respond and said its volaitle market its same excuse ,,,, i donot have sole or i think all here....it happebd with all traders,,, and there are much bigger lose than u ,,, it make them margin call and then the take profit done .,..... luagh and cry same time,,, instead u make huge money profit or may be more double the account u got the other misry way ,,, its all loss i m deepley sorry man

Well, I can see why XTrade doesn't want you to write. One reason would be that you just can't share a call in a forum out of air. There has to be some expertise or technical analysis backing the view.

Its not personal but done in the interest of forum and members here.

OK, I see your claim that you are a best trader, if so, why don't you show us what you got? Honestly, I would appreciate your skills if there are any. Usually, I'm one of those who'd say "Kudos to you"

Like I advised earlier, why don't you attach your FX account in your profile under the section "Trade Explorer" ?

OH NO DUDE!!!!!

During times of high volatility brokers will increase their spread and also orders will not execute immediately, so it sounds like the market shot up, and once it peaked, your order finally executed with a very wide spread before dropping through your stop loss...

My suggestion would be to contact them, although they will probably refuse to do anything about it. If that is the case I would look at which body they are governed by (FSA, FCA, etc) and try to get in touch with them.

DON'T TRY TO WIN YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!! YOU WILL LOSE!!!! (I know because this is a mistake I often make - I lost £3000 on one my first days of trading, not even my own money but money I had to pay back to the bank)

I would however advise you to start to try and come to terms with the loss, it's only money!!!! Try think of positive things in your life - simple things like the fact that you have clothes on your back, a roof on your head and remember, it's just money!!! (easier advice to give than to follow but it's how I coped)

Don't give up on trying to get it back but don't let in consume you either. Trade SMALL in the future until you are consistently making profit otherwise you will just keep throwing money away (once again, advice from personal experience)

If you split that loss over say 3 years, then it becomes a much more managable £200 a month, which you could easily make back in trading forex if you just follow good money management.... think of things like this. I like to think with all the money I've lost over the last three years that it is kinda like an investment in my future, because once I DO start making consistent profit, I shall earn it all back.

I hope you feel better soon, you know what I would do to begin with... go buy a few beers, or perhaps a bottle of whisky and try to relax.
