Chopping within a $4 range after retaking 1330. Needs to break 38 to resume short term uptrend.

XAU is still in a long bias.
Go long now with stops dozens of pips below bottom dotted lines

Just noticed 'bottle neck' so could present fake outs, or just a solid break out, perhaps sideways until news in later afternoon gmt

contrary to theory… from November 2013 there is a POSITIVE correlation between Dollar and Gold…

Lets hope your wrong

Now looking at a familiar chart below (usually posted by xtrade)
I have something i am keen to share and observe.
So we have three price lines, current day and two previous.
When the current day crosses and moves above or below (in this case) to next price level then enter trade (short in this case)
So for a long today we should see price cross above two previous and beyond next price level

(1) Price crosses, okay wait for price to cross 1320 (did not)
(2) Price crosses, again wait patiently and either
(3) Price reaches 1340, go long or
(4) Price reaches 1325, targeting (5)

I will continue observation of this, any comments welcome

my broker low was 1318.

1314 will be hit Monday, then there is a high chance of it going a bit lower before finding support.

Daily bearish engulfing and H4 Inside bar.

Also inside a channel which the top has been rejected. Bullish momentum has also stalled as the bears are now in control, note the size of the bull candles compared to the bear candles.
