xauusd - here's my view for what it is worth (no TA or FA, just CA (commonsense analysis )

...assuming market makers are accumulating buys, they would want to buy low as possible: so retest of 1249 and 1248 at least, maybe even lower if they can trigger some stops

on the flip side, if we assume they are accumulating sells, then that would explain the long H1 candle this morning start of session, so they have already, i think accumulated all the sells they can get under the current gold-usd equation.

in either case, it would make more sense for prices to go further down, 1249-1248 or lower, before any further upside

technically, i will be waiting for the stochs to cross over upwards and both lines to close above 20 before taking a long (image below)

ok forget the tl ,weekly is questionable for taking pivot imo ,see how daily closes

No point trying to fix something that ain't broken, in other words, no point waiting for a retrace if its not gona happen, play the PA as it happens. If you get stopped out, that is part of the business.

Notice that Gold and Oil charts are quite similar.

What joins gold and Oil at the hip that they walk a three-legged race together? I suspect "nothing" to be the correct answer.

My analysis says that gold will attempt an attack higher, but the longer term view for the next couple weeks says it's more likely to fall over into the new range from upper 1100 to upper 1200's. A $100 range for the time being until the markets find another way to extricate themselves from the mess the long overdue change in global powers is effected. Just a thought.
