Gold is still selling.
I'm already 10 points in profit with draw down almost non existent!
A few people here tried to dissuade me from remaining in the trade. They were of the opinion that gold is bullish.
Time has told the story so far.

Hi Pipcenturion

I would not dissuade you from keeping your short. I am bearish and believe the move up to 1267 area was just a retracement. If price takes out the 1267 high then my thinking is wrong

Same plan applies ... if it doesn't make it there near/ at London opening, i will reevaluate! For now, bears should have their day and i will be watching if their muscles stretches. A look at H4 suspects that 1252 was a previous resistance turned support. Lets see how it goes from here.
Nevertheless, the decision whether or not to taper caused fear in my trading decision, because in Gold, PA is extremely unpredictable during news release, SL can be immediately wiped out before reaching your TP. How you guys handle it? Trading in gold is indeed emotionally taxing, after trading gold for merely a month or two.
The true fact is market doesn't care, risk mgt is important.

Thanks for the lengthy response. In short I think silver is the better bet though storing say 3/4kg of gold in a safety box would be a lot easier than the dillema of handling 300/400 kg of Silver. Much research needs to be done. I certainly don't trust to buy it on paper, I want to take it for sure. Buying gold in Asia offer very tight margins. I will look into the process carefully. Its looking good for bulls so far, as long as 20.21 holds ... still watching, no daily entry yet !

I know what you mean. It looks like there is support @1254. 1252 is an inversion point where it switches from negative to positive. Knowing how gold behaves usually, there has been a shift in behaviour this past month and it now behavs fractally. There used to be definitive moves in swings, but now the market is getting a steady fluctuation like interference patterns with harmonic super-position and nullification patterns where differing wave patterns rippple through the marketplace and intersect at various time points. It's still suffering with interference from the bigger moves yesterday.
