Thanks. My daily analysis said gold was going long. My weekly analysis said it goes short. Now we have a large set of .786 fibs behind it above 1255. Unless gold breaks that level clearly with a loud bang, it's going south.

I agree looking bearish without a break north of 1255.

Looks to be a triple top forming at the range highs at 1255.
(also possible Pin Bar on the 4hr)

Currently position:

Short:1254
Targets: 1244---1230---1200.
Stop: 1262

Hi XTrade. I agree the price has to break out of the 4hr consolidation before more upside. Nice keyboard. I like things with personality. Have a great weekend

XTrade's a digital addict: he uses keyboards. Not sure that's legal, but each to his own. Maybe he ought to send his keyboard to the Betty Ford clinic for alcoholism and rehab to not be so loose around computers. I guess med insurance wont extend beyond the mouse click?

Then a PC laptop with extra external screen.

I knew about that and use it already with a massive mutil-monitor setup. Imagine trying to assess the following on a single 24" screen:

Fib price levels on M1, M5, M15, H4 across 12 markets,
Fib time zones for volume analysis,
Geometric analysis on a tick chart for trend and entry points,
Watch FF for updates,
Trade on 3 different accounts simultaneously
And everything is done manually for up to 14 hours a day from 5 am to sometimes 9 pm.
For obvious reasons I cannot show you what I use because this is a developmental system, but here's a taste of my primary system which is a backed up by 2 servers and a water cooled system with redundant internet links and I must be one mad sucker... I sound like I went a bit nuts with my IT budget.

So thin market, low volume. No big commitments coming in right now.

Alssso has been stuck for months now. sideways consolidation period.
