Long means buy. There is a probability that we may see 1230 in 2 hour, but generally this is a safe trade. If big sellers come in now, he will face tomorrow's low liquidity which means price are more easy to manipulate. Also next Friday's job report is so important and many institutions will not further heavy their shorts before that. A heavy short now will have a high chance to get hunted.

On technical side, we just touch BB lower band two days ago. Usually a touch of either upper/lower side means strongly overbrought/sold, and commodity has very strong mean-reversion price action (since I was quantitative analyst before, so I believe it, and I believe mean-reversion is frequently used in the trading system/alsorithmic system of many hedge funds trading commodities).

More importantly, traders want to cover today's shorts and have a peaceful Thanksgiving!...

It is hard to say, but I guess Asian traders dont have encourage to make heavy short. Will check my position each 30 mins. A turn could be made when the UK session is open. Dont know...

It is not stable, it is there wont be any directional move in this week, and many are expecting the job data next Friday since it will probably decide the tapering will start this December or next year.

May I ask about your target in this long position. For me, I am still thinking about a possible start of a long uptrend.

Well I am newbie and here to know about this forex world. I have been constantly reviewing this thread and foud interesting for trading except few buying and selling signals without any fundamentals, technicals or charts. I enjoy reading the analysis of others and want to know that from where should I initially start to learn from. Also can anyone please tell that if in Meta Trader 4, while trading Gold, if volume increases by 1, what does this means? a little bit confusion lies in my mind regarding this that if ! volume is increased, does that mean 1 ounce of gold or does it mean 1 contract size that the Broker offer you?? (if contract size is 100 so increase in 1 volume size means 100 ounces?)
