According to geometry, I expect gold to rise to around 1269 before selling off in a longer move down.

Geometry has changed. Looks like gold may possibly descend to 1200. Today and tomorrow are an important day that sets up March next year.

LOOK Elpidius , am daily trading only jump in short trades for couple of hours and close it when my TP hit , so am flexible enough as market and trend actions accordingly this is my view for today only

the best scenario for me to take a short position to 1246-1245
Then enter long till 1278-1279
after this take a short position to 1180

good , but keep watching crefully and takecare with ur short cause the shoting up will be fast , for me not recommended any short positions down of 1246 .. good luck

1246 is already a fantastic target (1237.5 is the ultimate target). However, I don't think there will be enough selling strength to push that deep in the early UK session.

Set SL @ 1256, slightly above the last two weeks' trend line.
