If USD falls Gold should raise, because Gold is the safe haven of investors, am I wrong?

Well, you have company.
One would thing this flooding with cheap money would boost gold but just the contrary is happening. I guess they are selling all the gold they can put hands on at the same time, even the one they don't own.

Avoid stressful situations. Don't hold anything too long. grab a cold drink and chillout. Any of these works for me. Oh, and stop trading on emotion usually works a treat. I suspect gold will descend somewhat more from here IMO. no idea if that's accurate, but that's the historical pattern for a drop.

yep, grabbing a cold drink might do the trick - thanks Rhodie. It's the spike up I'm weary of... keep moving my SL away, then closer, then away like a nervous fool

I read the post and your forecast is there - difficult to discern because the post is wordy but it's there.

It's there, but the post was describing what the market was saying. So if you can't figure it out from the english instead of charts, then there's good chance that it's best not to trade. What do I know anyway? I've been trading live for a week or less.... What I know is dangerous, what I've lost is tiny compared to what I've won in a ratio of around 1:10 roughly. I might have big losers just round the corner, but the market doesn't sneak up on me if I'm not in it...

At the post risk of spamming the forum and chatting a load of twaddle, gold is looking very confused and very bearish still. As time continues, the risk of another fracture drop like the last one a couple hours ago si becoming more imminent. I am looking to go short from a retracement below 1259. If trhe market breaks that level, then we may not have bottomed today and will probably see it go down maybe as far as 1180 but more likely 1250.

All probablilities are pointing to down, except 1.

Addendum: as stated: it went down as I posted this.

Once again, the main driving force for gold, inflation, is stuck in neutral. Not sure how many times this has to play out lol. $1,200 is more likely than $1,400.

Let's not forget that FED with Yellen & Co. looks more and more like a nest of heavy-weight doves. I expect a pullback if not today possibly tomorrow.

Gold has already priced it in last week. Remember, there is, so far, no change in stimulus. If gold is $1,250 at $85B/Mo. today why would it be drastically different next month?
