Hi KiwiOz,

So your saying because of the divergence we should see it move up to that pink line of yours, or at least to the daily pivot line?

That is the level I had in mind, but watching price action this morning, it seems more likely to go to the downside, it has rejected 1287-1290 4 times now, depending on what happens within the next 1 hour will determine if I want to be long and get my short positions closed out, or hold in.

I would like a close below 1283 on the M30 chart to go bearish on this.

hi KO,

this is what I expect to see also: divergence to the downside and then a thrust up toward the 1295/1300 area. Downside at the moment is really choppy and not characteristic of a wave advancing the downtrend... perhaps we get a low around 1277 and, with it, a good divergence shotgun upwards.

Problem is there is nothing on the calender to give it a kick....

true, and i just read the latest marctomarket article which ends with "US holiday means consolidation during the session"...

but sometimes the low liquidity can result in relatively big moves if a trend gets going... let's hope someone eases in some large orders somewhere....

I am short, well just closed out and took profit, going to go long at 1282 if price reaches that area, my final TP will be 1305 as I think it will reverse around that area like I first thought.

So it looks like a good few of us are agreeing that going long around 1279-1280 is a good trade, what will you guys be targeting, I couldn't see anything really about 1305/6, MM will drop the sell orders there i think, we are in re-accumulation for another leg down at the moment I think.. (after a spike up)
