Gold bounced off from $1253 which happens to be strong support on daily. Today's close above this level should mean this long term support being respected and Gold could go higher from here.

The US debt ceiling decision could happen anytime and in most respects the ceiling could be expanded, which again means dollar weakning (bullish for Gold)

usually, a) at this time or b) after a double zigzag up like we had, PA kind of coasts lower; then makes a hook-up (like a rhino horn) and then slams down lower.

it's not happening (or is delayed) which makes me think vickym's previous post about consolidation (and perhaps trend change) is on the cards. I'm not sure - i'm surmising... i still think some more downside is due because the wave count I have is incomplete and a trendline at 1227 untouched.

Anyway, no guarantees or expectations in this game. We have to wait...

edit: just looked at the FF home page - the theater in Washington is getting to the "resolution lost - new contention" part now... that should up the volatility and fear a notch!

The iconic rhino horn is forming on M5 as i write. Forgive my prediction, but if we are still in the same downtrend and the pattern holds then we should see PA hit the horn-tip at 1,273.95 (Fib 68% of recent wave down from 1278) followed by a long red candle.

Once the bottom is struck we should see some epic PA unfold.

That's means , We might look into a big red candle by tomorrow or ?

counting the chicken before they are hatched .... i know the second candle has not yet developed .... but if it does develop within the down trendline , will this be a valid DeMark candidate ?

or have i got the DeMark concept mixed up ?
