yesterday i just wanted to post chart, but then the gold started the big move in the evening european time, so nice, and oil also, was to bussy to comment anything, since market comment pretty much evrything...by himself. And still does, what doesnt go down, will go up, and vice versa.

Closing in on this target. Took a hedge trade earlier but the original target now looks secure. If, I say IF, it continues South the next target is 1237.

Yeah, anyway I traded a similar system bout a year ago, see you are using multiple timeframes. Your chart looks like mt4, if it is this indicator will help you on multiple timeframe format.

Hi all,
this trade is still doing excellently well! Over +60 gold pips in profit already and there's more to come.
Draw down was less than 20 gold pips.

Thanks mate. can't download the file but will look for it on MT4 indicator downloads. I have been using the WOODIES CCI for years.

That has happened to me a couple of times. Unsubscribe then resubscribe and verify whichever e-mail option (daily, instant, etc.) you prefer is the one being used and that should (hopefully) fix the problem.

i long it recently, SL 1298.77, TP 1466....might add at 1316, if we come there, and 1308 as well, Oil is heading north, it might drag gold with it...lets see.

I was not able to get into short position according to my own analysis but think it might go lower that 1299. Have you played around with partial take profit? Depending on your lot size I would give my humble opinion to climb out with have of your position at 1291 and see how far your can milk this one with the rest of your position. I had more success with my equity growth since doing partial take profits. . . . . Play around with a demo account to see how far you can milk your own strategy. Hope it works out for you. . . . . .

I have benefited by allowing my own system to evolve over the years from being exposed to many different ideas, adopting any techniques that I find work for me. Some systems work better in specific environments (risk-on, low volume, etc.) and some require additional confirmation. Some are a precise science and some are more of an art.

I'm sure over time I will continue to incorporate yet more ideas into my system but you are welcome to keep a closed mind if your system is so perfect that the opinion of anyone using a different system is useless to you. You are not, however, welcome to violate rule #1, so please refrain from uncivil discourse.

Daily RSI is still in bearish territory, but it has broken both bearish RSI trend lines (red and red-dashed) and respected both bullish trend channels (blue and purple-dashed). Price-wise it it sitting in both the parallel channel to the bull channel it was in since June (blue) and the fractal bear channel it's been in since August (red). I am scalping consolidation zones after larger movements, but otherwise I am waiting for a breakout of either the bull or bear channel before committing to longer term trades.

We are really going nowhere price wise and fast being that it is Wednesday and we have hardly moved over 20 bucks in a session.

The level I stated as TP is actually my first TP.

Gold is not looking like it is tired of the down move yet. It just sliced through a symmetrical triangle on 5 min tf with decent volume. See chart attached.
