If I can shed some light here. Pinbar on the weekly around 1400 level and daily pinbar in on my 150. Probably south here but who knows. I'd expect 1335 but maybe I'm too optimistic! Any comments

Could be another bite at the cherry with oil, perhaps they'll push it back up for a test of 112 over the coming weeks; that would be nice...well, assuming it comes back down again.
Same with ES, same with Gold.
But it's early days yet.
I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Today(Monday) maybe but not last week's bar which lakhan referred to also. That almost certainly is not bullish.

i suppose it is the US holiday mood that has kept it small range bound ... what will they think of next ?

Sure looks like the uptrend is all set to continue with the Daily pinbar at the previous S/R level

appreciate your comments and feedback on the long-term analysis. The general trend is bullish, buying range 1340 to 1372 and selling above 1465.

Do you trade on a long term basis, i.e. weeks and months?

If not than you are concerned about more than you need to.

Because you can always go back far enough, if you want to, to justify a trade. But that's not the right way to trade.

I'm no expert but supposedly silver:gold ratio expanding means good news for both, whereas the reverse is the opposite.
It looks from those 2 charts above like gold is currently stronger than silver, which is ("probably", he says) bearish for both.
I have no clue what I'm talking about.

archer - with respect you seem to be really thrashing around looking for something foolproof. there is no such thing.

suggest trying to find something that seems to work for you and sticking with it eg the chart you posted in message 25103 is imho the best thing you have shown......
