I can see what you mean.

Maybe 1423-27 is short term resistance if bears are in control.

Next level, 1447 38% fib retracement and a supply zone.

Let's see.

Hi!!!

Maybe I make a fool question... But can someone clarify me how to calculate the pips? For example, from 1335,85 to 1350,85, is it the difference 15 pips, 150 pips or 1.500 pips? I found some different information about that and I'm a bit confused.

Thanks a lot.

1500 pips. Every $1 of movement in gold is equivalent to 100 pips in XAU/USD

That is NOT correct. Every dollar price of gold moves is equivalent to 10 pips, not 100.

I guess each broker has it's own equivalency.

FXCM: XAU/USD 1 pip = 0,01$, and 100 pips = 1$

I think maybe it depends on what type of account you have. Micro -vs-standard lot. Standard lot is $1 dollar in Gold price movement is equivalent to 10 pips.
