In what way did you find any of that post useful or even relevant to this thread? It doesn't link to (or even mention) the actual article, without which these points provide no insight whatsoever. Additionally, Alex2222 has been warned repeatedly against plagiarising.

This is my techinical analysis chart of today.
Gold will down to bottom of LRC today or change trend to the bullish,we will see soon.
Any senior of here,mind to share what you predict the price today?

I have no daily price targets -- I go by RSI. I buy a small position when 5-minute RSI hits support and sell when 5-minute RSI hits resistance. Buy large position when hourly RSI hits support and sell when it hits resistance. When daily RSI hits support (if not breached) the overall mid-term bias should be considered changed to bullish. Normally, RSI support and resistance will coincide with obvious Fibonacci and/or trend lines. ATR (Average True Range) and/or Donchian (price) channels can help determine where to place your stops.

Overall at this point the direction is still sideways, but since price hasn't shot up and broken out of the bear channel upon hitting bull channel support, my bias is further downside; however, bull channel support does seem to be holding. Breaking down to $1585(ish) would be a constructive final move in this correction, otherwise expect more ideal-for-scalping range-bound sideways grinding.

something new i learnt today : on using RSI ...... TA-wise have been using overbought and oversold concept

how would one draw support and resistance on this 5min chart ? (looks almost like the daily chart)

my opinion to make simple to understand whats going on:
there are 2 magnets...
first one is 1675 and ends 1691...
second is 1665 ends 1642...
in h4 and daily is important; closing ,up 1691 or down 1642, for begin something new, if should...
closing under 1642 is important for me... it should stay several hours under 1642...

i use RSI, but variable i change with 3 not 14 (standard mt4). it more realistic.......
use in m5 n m15

for new uptrend could be early, because the last move is 2 mounts long and this is long time and could be longer time...

I have the same number on my chart as well. Pulled it out of historic data somewhere last year.
I got 1642.46 to be exact. But that probably is different due too different broker feeds.
But I am curious how you link it to 1665. Because I haven't got enough info or skill to link such levels yet. I got 1665 too, but in between a few more. So I am interested in how you link those, would gladly read a reply from you. Thanks in front.

From another method I am using, I got 1642 too, it's a mid of december 2011 there.

For the historic data levels I got further below are:
1637.7x
1627 & 1626
1623.5

Other:
1625.7x (Low January 2013)
1622 (mid 2012 Open/close) (mid 2012 high/low is at 1661.9)

I believe my post above was my first in this thread. I am following this thread a bit lately. Not enough time too reply though. But here are three charts for the moment.

One daily chart where I drew a few possible scenarios in. Not sure if they are drawn correct to the levels I have. But most of the levels can be found in the two H1 charts. (sorry my fault, one is a H4 chart)

At the moment in a short, would like to target around 1626. But I might pull the plug earlier if it doesn't reach it by Friday afternoon. (or if it turns up, that's possible too, see scenario)
In all means, I will never say I am skilled in trading gold. Only started trading gold recently (somewhere last year).
But if something is unclear and you have questions, ask, and I might be able to answer.

i looked chart and seen 2 magnets, magnets has power, first i guess standart distance of power, then i add or minus, trend effect, momentum effect, correlation effect with other instruments if any exist, other any effects, think everthing together , then i guess, this number is optimum...

I looked closer myself. And it's a real big zone from 1680-1656. And in there. 1665 is more or likely the center of that zone. So yes I can see why you picked it!
But for me a close below 1656 (end of zone) was needed to target 1642.
Same goes for 1637, need closes below 1642 for it. And for 1626/27 I need closes below 1637.
