Yes where is the $200 gap? it shrunk to $100 first and now she is higher than her.

But don't forget Platinum's benchmark price for years = 2x of gold.

And don't forget the production figures, Gold 2,000 Tonnes per year, Platinum 200 Tonnes per year.

But if you ask me her consumption is also very poor.
