Forex.com has xauaud xaugbp xaueur xauusd xaujpy... im not comercializing them btw just helping out this question

i chose the xauyen due to the location of price at the time was better than xauusd...

I didn't think any correction would be so drastic as the move up was very tame.

There may be a safe entry around 1700.

BUT WAIT FOR THE DUST TO SETTLE first.

ANyone who was short got a lucky trade today.

Seems once the mini TL broke the price fell.

Plus the Positive US news didn't help and the USDX has ticked up.

Price is EXTREMELY OVERSOLD. Looking at H4

Sometimes when the price rises and remains stagnant or in range for a bit,
a few things happen like today.

1. Profit taking.
2. Shorts
3. News - which was dollar positive today.
4. correction.

We ARE oversold.

If you want to enter aggressively you could take a chance long now.

Otherwise wait for the dust to settle and see how the PA has reacted by the London close and the NY afternoon start.

I doubt it will stay at these lows.

This is an almost 90 USD discount.

Please, answer this even if the price goes higher. I just want to know how do you become aware of a possible shift in price direction once price has gone the other way expected.
Almost every support has been broken and it seems february will print a huge pinbar in monthly chart.

I would wait another day - at least. Even at the risk of missing a good entry.
