Seasonality is not the holy grail. But it is one input that everybody should look at when trading longer than 1 day. Gold price seasonality can be seen here: http://www.spectrumcommodities.com/e...charts/gc.html

I see gold hitting 1,760 this week. Up to you if you want to wait for better entry.

my first entry last week is 1650, sl 1712.
and open entrys 1730.1735. sl 1715.

Just like people say that gold is weak in the summer.

Look at yearly charts and analyze the months in question.

You will find there is no conclusive pattern in this regard.

I did it once in this thread for I think a 5 or 10 year period.

Not sure what you are trying to say here.

Also for longer term outlooks try a higher time frame than a minute(any 1 5 15 etc.) chart.

You can go back to those if you are a scalper otherwise to your analysis off the weekly > daily > H4 ETC.

H1 is a great TF to trade for intraday and longer. IMO...

Notice the line I have drawn to reference the declining volume present during consolidation.
