hey guys gold support might be gone from this perspective...
heres my chart from admiral - a separate broker but my orders are on euromax

we broke the major fanline of support which is 1x1 line. we should be moving to the 1x2 line

if it breaks the current line - twala possible short add on

Hello bumapatria, I have recently seen lots of people using the same system as you do to determine the support and resitance areas. I would like to use that one as well, if you could please tell me if it has a special name I could look it up on the internet

heres a nice price rise - but i didnt go long on the division of time.

i never get tired of watching price fall into time - then just go long price turns... price rises to time - go short - price falls.. ah never get tired of the good stuff

Too early to say but... it seems like a right shoulder out there.

Not to mention bearish divergence in H4 (MACD, RSI, SSD)

So, i'm short @ 1665,24 SL 1670,50 TP 1655,50 half, other half maybe today's low @ 1645.

and no i dont fake trades or exits - heres proof that i shorted gold lol...
using what i use and will still do

theyre not so kickass anyways but kinda leveraged 2:1 each.. so therefore high %gain as well (yes 2% a trade is high especially 7% makes me shiver at times lol.)

so im happy i got out profitable here!

So a Dollar and 20 cent move,
a 47 cent move and a
42 cent move?

Correct?

The high to low today was over 20 bucks what happened to today?

The pips GREEN from open were so far SEVEN USD and counting.

Here is today in H1

All I see is an opportunity to get long.

At best 1644 to 1666 a 22 USD move.

Why are you trying to fight the trend?

Had you bought the dip today you could boast about winning a 20 USD trade not a 1.20 usd trade.

By the way the line is broken on the weekly.

Hi Xtrade.

Which Swing Highs did you use to define the weekly TL?

TL drawn from Sept High @ 1920.70 to Nov @ 1802.70, which i think is still a valid TL, is not broken yet.

Even a TL from nov 1802.70 to 1762.90 ain't broken yet.

I know next week's open will be above that line. But shouldn't price close above that line before saying it is broken?

I mean, price could drop, and close below TL.

Anyways, I would close that trade with +300 pips (3$) when I saw a double bottom @ 1661,80 in m5 charts, but as i am trying to get a feeling of the market in larger TFs i decided to let it run.

If price hits my SL it is ok. I will learn from that.

This rally began with a strong move and then became weaker.

H1 and H4 shows room for more bullish pressure, but lower TFs shows a correction before price rises.

Well, let's see what happens after this weekend. I don't use to have open trades like this one. So it will be a new experience for me.

By the way, i use to scalp gold, as the one who taught me does that.

Believe it or not, he is profitable scalping gold, many trades of 100 pips, high leverage, but some of my friends after many succesful trades, have longs opened @ 1730 and 1720, so their trades have been almost 20000 pips down because they use to trade without stop loss, and december's fall caught them.

So i'm trying to learn again trading larger TFs and using SL and TP.

In case you didn't notice, i don't speak english. I speak spanish.

So if I sound like Tarzan, now you know the reason.

Last several weeks has been up since our retest of 2011 breakout area 1551, so trend has been up.
Looking at a smaller timeframe, the daily, bias is up from daily trend guide 1555 and down below it.

of coarse, however there is resistance at the weekly highs 1687 area where we need to pay extra attention to pa and candle formations on the 5 min. and not blindly adding longs just before.
Also, as we need to be aware to consider sis and how shes responding just as we did today.
