Closed my 1st position @ 1604.50 (opened at 1609.60) with 51.0 pips profit. I've moved my 2nd position SL to breakeven and will now let it run. Have a merry Christmas everyone...see ya next year...I'm off camping for the summer in New Zealand...

What's CRAZY is that the silver counterpart actually in 2.5 GRAMS
sells for over 20 bucks on fleabay!!!!

Is this the start of the next Gold rally leading into the next year?

Looks to me like it may very well be. I will be looking to buy dips around this region, adding to my position as long as 1550 support holds on a daily close.

Dips towards the 1600 and 1580 looks to be perfect buying opportunities for a target towards 1640 for first target, 1680 for second target, 1750 for third target, while leaving a position looking to close all positions at the 1800 level.

Agree with you completely, Swiss silver packs including PAMP are very hard to find here as well and have crazy prices, Silver's current price is $29, the pack should be around 40$ max, but here it is 50$ makes no sense to me

Ask the premium on 1 kilo Silver? around $ 150 to $ 200 more !

Gold on the other hand is around $10 - $20 additional for a FULL 1 OUNCE ! which is very reasonable to me.

Swiss GOLD (Physical) is by far my favorite for several reasons.

The two main producers or maybe the most retail active producers.....

PAMP - Makes the most BEAUTIFUL bullion I have ever seen in my life.It is worth the couple extra bucks especially for the gold if it comes in the sealed assay card.

Credit Suisse- HUGE Swiss bank. Nice designs.

Point being the SWISS are neutral. Wherever you go in the world these bars will be accepted (as most gold) yet without any stigma attached.

Plus the more beautiful the bar the less likely I am to sell it.

Part of the reason I like numismatic American coins. They will NEVER be made again. Thus to hold a piece of gold that has a face value of 2.5 USD, that USED TO be used as money in the late 1800s to early 1900s over 100 years old is really something special....

Futures are closed Monday but re-open Tuesday and trade as usual for the rest of the week. Same next week closed on Monday only.

Gold futures and all other futures - in the US - are not traded.

Don't know about Spot Gold or elsewhere in the world but I would assume it is the same.

There is extremely light trading going on.

Just look at Forex Factory news to see which banks are on Holiday for Christmas today.

I rolled AUD and NZD (and Gold) longs. Still no roll payment. The market won't open until tonight London.

But will remain thinly traded until after the new year.

This can be a great time to scalp big lots with tight stops..

Target 10 to 30 pips for currencies and 2 to 3 USD or 200 to 300 pips for gold.
