OMG - because I closed my longs manually GFT left the limit sell orders I had with them open as they don't automatically do OCO.

So I got 2 bonus shorts from 33.00 which I just closed at 32.60 - thanks GFT

Hi all, i'm not new here, have been a silent lurker for sometime. I've been wanting to ask a whole series of noob questions, but have been restraining myself... For now, here's one question: which is the best Volume indicator for Metatrader that'll work accurately for Gold? And what's the best way to interpret volumes when it comes to XAU??

Yeah....they key is holding on to it.

I use a trailing stop of 1200 on gold to stack them up when it is going up....tripled my equity in august....gotta be careful of the remaining buys left open drawing your account down though.

Exactly -I guess having been "in wishing I was out" too many times paralyzed me a bit today - which hopefully means I am learning something about patience or restraint (not big things in my life!!) - that will console me somewhat too, thanks!
