Following on from post # 7950 concerning SI 20 min fork:


After finding resistance at SP 2 at point (8) price fell and as expected found support and a further long entry at SP 3. For price to maintain strength/bullishness you would expect it to top at or exceed SP 2 again around point (9). The fact that it failed to reach that level put me on alert to a possible change in trend - see message # 7980.

Indeed price took a tumble finding initial support at the LQ (10) and then resistance at the ML – remember what I said about support becoming resistance.......

After following the line of the LQ, price then tumbled through this support, all the way through the LP before finding support at the OQ at (11). It is now looking to regain the fork, and the LP – which had been support at “ONE” earlier on is now providing resistance.......

So even with a large move like we have recently seen, forks can indicate likely levels of support and resistance for price......
