Yesterday, after the smoke settled the price finds itself so far to be using yesterday's top 4445 as support and trying to take out 4500.
So I'm looking up, that is until the next "headline" drops.
Aud moving nicely.
Gold still stuck. It is not going to be a quick retracement and I chalk most of the decline of recent up to position squaring and thinning before the slow weeks of summer begin.

DislikedI see 18DMA arcing down. Chart is daily. 50% retracement is seen often in gold and that would bring us to 1442.5. 100DMA is 1474.5.
Gold is normally weak in this seasonal. I read an article on Fib Time cycles and calls for a low at about 19AUG11.

I was selling since 1546 on the belief that gold would not be strong in this season. I had to cut at 1553.6 when it passed the previous peak but due to speed of rise, i went short again at 1555 and 1557.
My next aim goal is 1475, a bit above the 38.2% retracement.
