For me, this kind of speech seems to be for the "market papparazzis" - once in a while they get some breaking news out of Ben's words and spread it to the world.

can anyone spot a cup and handle pattern in Silver?

Usually when there is a cup and handle, silver will explode upwards

An interesting chart on silver

Trending down since late morning.

Well strictly it should be lower highs and lower lows so it is an expanding wedge I guess.

Edit - USD Index moving up since the same time today.

common revesal price configuration, may correct first


think about why a diamond is a reversal from a price structure prespective - its a shake out before change ..... its shape makes its difficult to take profit either long or short - it squeezes both sides of the trade and then breaks hard


check 5min gold right now, a cluster resolving, prices dropped a bit, now its retested - can be a correction atleast intraday on metals

yeah WTF is all that about, gold up .7% usually means silver up 2.8% but sits on 0.27%. Puzzling picture as that is not the way silver rolls, at least recently.

Well its a big number and it is quite round.

Gold did not make 1550 so far.

Despite all time high for gold, silver is not for once matching it.

Me thinks the market views silver as having run too far ahead of its bigger brother and wants to see gold catch up.

Anyone got a graph showing gold:silver ratios lately?
