Where is the liquidity? One method, valid for larger TFs.

We look at the Change from Open interest; if Change (in parentheses) increases, that's where the money is.

Standard Treasuries do not have a monthly maturity in May; they have quarterly months: Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec.

In the case of an energy shock caused by oil, the currency of the country that imports 90% of its oil is strongly affected and in combination with the USD forms one of the three major currency pairs.

If the initial shock accelerates towards a global crisis, traders take refuge in gold.

The logic is this:
A weaker yen makes oil, gas, food more expensive and hits households. 160 has become the “intervention zone.

Credibility. If USD/JPY easily crosses 160, speculators can push towards 162–165, testing the Ministry of Finance. That is why “verbal interventions” appear: warnings that they will take “decisive actions”. The BoJ does not intervene directly on its own in FX; the Ministry of Finance decides on the intervention, and the BoJ executes the operations.

anythint that happens in iran war is reflected in price of oil so no need to run to other sources

rsi on oil on a gold chart gives me actionable reading of news both war AND US ECONOMY

So the big boys knew/know data about:
-preparations for intervention 10 months ago;
-the blockade may last for months;
-the price of gasoline will increase even more;
-the federal interest rate will increase in June.

As a result, they continue to buy USD.

If what you are saying is true. This is not a level playing field. What use is out TA? Except TAing on insider market trading?
