You do not need to have a SL in place. Mental stops are fine. Mentioned in writing and also in video on their website and discord

Which is a bit ridiculous because if you place a physical stop this is what they expect from you:

Honor your stops, do not move them backwards to potentially lose more than your strategy accounts for. Can always move stops forward to trail and protect profits, trail profits and let profits run, but do not move them backwards and risk more. Simply have a systematic plan and stick to it. Do not gamble “in hopes” it will come back.

Of course if you have a "mental" stop you can have them dance around in your head and do whatever you want. Move back, move up, leave trade running until you blow up. We trust you have a system for your "mental" stop but you better not even dare to move your physical stop backwards

My understanding is they wont check each trade that you have a sl instead they be checking the performance i.e profit factor or best-worst trade ratio not more then 1:3.

How will your mental stop work in case of sudden event that can move Gold up to 4000 points in less than 2 minutes? Don't forget that you won't be able to manually close trade at this point because your closing price will likely be rejected in the market.

I wonder how they will view my performance.

First week trading 50K PA account. Got to within $200 of hitting the 2K trailing drawdown. Oops

Basically forex prop firms all high risk now. Especially during summer times as less people sign up and thus less revenue to pay out the little profit the get nowadays even FTMO thus the discount im guessing "summer times".

Then we have the futures prop firms. It seems theres only two decent now. Apex and Tradeday. Due to them not having Daily Loss. Only DD trailing limit. But not that much talk about tradeday around here tho. Apex Im still not sure about due to their panic discounts they been having since forever. I would say Apex is fine for another few months. Then one might see what truly happens to them.

No one is going to pay TradeDUDS outrageous prices. Apex and Topstep have the market, the reviews and the history

No, no, no. No Trade-Decay.

Only Apex and Topstep for futures. I only have experience with Apex, but others close to me prefer/like Topstep

In that case, if a trade goes against you and you're down 300, it'll be better to close it when it rebounds at -1 than +1?

Agreed, the pearl clutching over Apex specials is a bit ridiculous. That’s always been part of their marketing from day one.

They are also actively speeding up payouts which is counter to a company that is going under.

Theres no comparison with CFD props vs what we see in futures prop.

myfundedfutures waiting for that as well otherwise not gonna bother buying any challenege. I have a gut feeling it'll be coming soon coz they had good success with them.

Another day and yolo'ed some 250k and lost 5. Went up high as 7k and then crashing down. 90bucks down the drain. 15k yolo target is too much for me with TRAILING. Probably stick to 50k account. Btw i have 15 passed in queue which i havent activated from 2weeks back. Probably buy a 250x5 last try. If not then 50k to cover the last 5. This 18$ challenges made me go beserk YOLO'ing. Overall for Apex net up thanks to last payout.
Activated topstep 3x150k waiting for accounts info. Topstep total money spent up to date is 1660$ bucks in total (i.e 6x150$ activation fees + 3x150$ first eval + 3x110$ 2nd evals). This time gonna pull a payout out of them.

In Futures the one and only thing I am focused on now is Gold. I am not doing anything else. I have a full time Job which needs a lot of attention so I can only trade mostly in Asian Session and early morning before 9:00am

So far working out Good. Sometimes its better to focus on one thing instead of confusing yourself with too much.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

I am in same situation as well full time job. Yep gold is good but beware its so random n volatile sometimes which i dont like. Thats why my primary is DOw in asia easily can pick 20 points and then secondayr some gold.

Yep, Funding Pips is restricting some people to 5 lots per day and max 1% risk per day to some people. They call it toxic flow, despite not having it defined.

People showed those emails in twitter and then deleted and apologized. Rumors that they had to do that and sign NDA. Nothing surprising. We're talking about artist Khaled.
