you and jr are excellent at selling/buying the shoulders. very useful skill to have in this game.

I think brokers quickly start to just mirror trade their most succesful clients. make money on the commissions AND the actual trades

I'm assuming both the trades would have been profitable at one time. That's when you would want to move stops to BE +1.
10 BE +1 are still better than 1 SL.

for me it'll take some time to learn how a few things are used, etc

If price kept moving up past your entry, would you cut it at a loss and try to re-enter at the next shoulder level or around DR1?

With every entry there is a risk, it's inevitable, so I can't say I was sure about it, but there was a high probability of it. In this case, I would add some on R1 because the bigger picture was in favor of it. Overall, we are very high and the "to the moon" phase may be over... or may not haha we'll see.

It probably doesn't matter at all, but it's certainly more pleasant to watch when the price moves quickly. What is important is the level and time... especially during the NY session.

If it helps you at all, I noticed that in the case of fast/large movements, the price usually "breathes" giving you a chance to get out of a bad position, and in the case of slow, monotonous movements, there is no such chance.

Worst thing is I conditioned myself with the fear.

Have had a couple of accounts margin called because I just held too big positions like an idiot without a stop, so even with a stop in place something in me is fearing I'll get liquidated again. Funny how that works.

Mind games ... over time, fear and normal emotions that accompany stressful situations will disappear. I don't know if it's possible, but try to make it only apply to trading and not to normal life.
