Yes, this is a very good approach... The less, the better, because then they will be much better and the risk of doing something stupid is much lower. I try to limit myself as much as I can, but sometimes I can't help myself. One day I will pay the price for this just like I paid many times in the past... Only now the numbers are bigger.
I can pat myself on the back because lately I've been using 20p sl for all my trades. This also significantly reduces the risk of doing something stupid.

same within a week, at monday tends to be the weekly high or low of the week, then keeps the same direction depending of what monday new york did, could be a retracement to that high low at tuesday, maybe above or maybe beyond, keps de direction until wednesday where creates the corresponding high or low of the monday with a chance to a retest at thursday, then oposite direction than monday to wednesday did, or maybe ranges, rinse and repeat
that's what I look for, I start seeing it recently so now I need km (miles) to gain confidence and practise, specially at muddy days but feels so encouraging to have a solid plan
