In my opinion, it is very important to learn when NOT to trade. Then learn to look for good spots to trade. For example, trading in the middle of a range not a good spot (probabilities are usually 50-50), unless you are adding to your position. Buying at the low of the range or extension lower = good, selling at the top of the range or extension higher = good. Buy low, sell high, if in the middle sit on your hands. I remember Jr saying: Don't fiddle in the middle
