boys seem to be in a buying mood , the old daily 200 and that mid would get the boys to bout their normal ,all know how a day works tho , till the bitter eod , dukes up all , trying to set a new record number of days with no stink eye , finish the year out strong , , only a few left before the old St Nik break , or Big Nick Clause break have fun all

not great trading on this round but i do have a trade (sell) from above the red zone and may be able to use it to balance the earlier trade...will see how that words, and if it is needed or not. The higher trade is obviously protected to BE, so it could be a help.

great evidence of how NOT to get into a mindset of market has to go one was or the other. I got into thinking (i will u se the excue i was distracted by posting here), that sell was where market was going, adn the bigger candle i use for entry supported that BUT should have perhaps considered otherwise.
However it all shows what happens to all traders. It is what we do to handle this that matters.

I dont understand you saying you do not think, you seem to have everything well analyzed. You have to think it will go up when you buy and it will go down when you sell?

I think it was decent sell for a scalp, but the news turned it the other way

considering it is Friday, i took the two trades to net out just over 10p so i am happy with that. All trades done. still had a good day, forty pips total.

and it gives me something to review on the weekend. Was my decision making good? Could i have done better? Did I follow my system? Did I THINK? or did i get into a belief of what market had to do today? etc. learning comes from thinking and thinking. I will also look at Jr. and Aussie, and Joker and Ced74 trades/posts becasue from them i learn a lot each day. Even after my many years of trading and success, it is great to learn more.

jr , something else the deep thinker that has blown in didnt "think " bout , maybe price does follow lines because price blanking put em there ,, noboys fault but their own if one cant follow along as they are being used , "one can "think this or that and hmmm and haw " about sh-t till they blanking broke ,, but hey thats trading right, welp something a little different was in my study book , The very 1st line in it says Blank the circus

Jr, how often experienced trader like yourself uses pending/limit orders at the levels as opposed to hitting the market.
I am asking, because quite often I have a level, but I wait to see the reaction and "think" then end up with a shitty entry or miss the entry completely.
When I see you and Joker with pip-perfect entries, it blows my mind how can one manage to be so precise at times... cheers

jr , oooy what I was told , ya want something done right ya do it your self , equates to very seldom , , dont always peek at the right time but so be it i, its never long till the next spot , or there may be enough room at current spot to squeeze a few bangers off, when there is a LINE , welp one knows how much room thay might have along with what the tic toc on the wall says

When you would say it was clear to you that it turned up before the news? It held yesterdays low during europe session and then made intraday higher swing, could thaat be it? Thanks

as naked, I found useful draw the levels from myself instead of the indi, for example last quarter, take de full distance from the high and low of the last quarter and divide it in quarters (also add the open), more or less it coincides with the levels that you usually signal and draw, (same with montly, yearly and weekly).

in that way, at least to me, makes me know what I'm dealing with instead of trusting a computized lines that the indi draw into my chart,

jr , the path was pretty much set right there , the new york gyration didnt turn so till the bitte eod or at least late in the day , as said boys real close to their 200 , so plink and dink mode now basically , best part of day/week done and gone

Can't talk from experience because my enters aren't that razor blade precise, but I asked that to mrjoker before and the response is that by experience and being everyday there you get the point. it's like to play an instrument, at the beginning your playing is akward and not in tempo, with time, practise, and so many errors, you get it and you do it eve inconsciently, in that aspect I can talk with experience as my trading improved just by standing in front of the screen tring to figure out, it's like you ''get it'' more and more as you gain experience

jr , ya still put a line down , and its put there because of price , bit like the chiken and the egg , which came 1st ?, just dont preach about lines or go on about a dirty chart , shit thats working tends to get dirty aint a gonna stay show room new , if it is , the blank ya get it for

jr , and now its been to what was last , that daily 200 all the stuff in here , hourly 200 m30 200 , 195 for the day , and the plink and dink go round spot , probably bout put a stamp on this week in the dull azz yellow metal
