I've been trading consistently for about 2 years. Ditching the idea of using a stop loss has been a game-changer for me. I control my trades using lot sizing, margin level and trading based on weekly/monthly supply and demand levels.

It's good to participate in a community with like-minded people.

Unfortunately for me everytime I try and trade without a SL my account goes bye bye in the upcoming days I’m a full margin kind of trader (still a bad habit, trying to break it)

I control my risk with tight SL, it works for me funny how completely opposite things work for diff ppl, but as Aussie said best whatever gets you that cash gotta stick to it

the word was candles mate up down on gold aus200 up reloaded and tped twice both were easy money i am sure ced 74 had a overflow of trades

Hello Aussie and all, uhmm I wanted to ask. I was chatting to a guy who works at one of these trading firms. He was explaining that money is not safe at retail brokers. That pro traders use clearance house and investment banks. Is that what you guys also do on your larger accounts? The usual ones that we use as brokers is for like small stuff?

I wasn't sure how true his statement is, so just wanted your point of view. He was saying a trader shouldn't really put a lot of cash in a broker, rather start small and hit them hard and withdraw.

Let me know. Just for my own learning.
